Richard A. Westergren
Regional Vice President - Regional Accounts in Greater New England
Rick is Poyant Signs’ Northern New England Regional Vice President, based out
of the Nashua, New Hampshire office. He has been with the company for over
twelve years and has been in the Sign Industry for over thirty years. In addition
to Rick’s sales and management duties, he is an expert in representing Poyant’s
clients at zoning board hearings throughout New England, New Jersey, and
New York, and Pennsylvania.
Rick began his sign career at Philadelphia Sign Company as a Junior Engineer,
ultimately ending his tenure there as Manager of National Installations. Rick
was relocated to New England by The Barlo Group, initially as General Manager
of Coyne Signs in Portland, ME. Rick’s career has taken him to other assignments
including Sales Manager at Mandeville Signs in Rhode Island and Advanced
Signing in Medway, MA. Rick’s career boasts years of expertise with major
accounts such as Choice Hotels, Ames Department Stores, and numerous other
national account programs.
Rick earned his degree in Business Management and Engineering Design from
the Pennsylvania State University in 1967.

Gary McCoy
Regional Sales Executive - National
Gary McCoy brings over 24 years of experience in the Sign Industry to Poyant
Signs, originally training in what is considered the most skilled craft in our
industry - neon tube bending. He owned Neon Factory, Inc established in 1983
and later went to work for Darlington Sign Company.
Gary joined Poyant Signs in January 1999, as a Sales Executive and has
tremendous insight into the needs of retailers and shopping center development
throughout New England. His accounts include Foxwoods Resort & Casino, CVS
Pharmacy, and Shaw’s Supermarkets to name a few.
Gary is a member of The International Council of Shopping Centers, Providence
Chamber of Commerce and The ICSC Next Generation Group of Rhode Island.

Ed Taylor
Sales Executive - Local, Regional & National Sales
Ed's sales career in the sign industry began in 1978 at Sign Center, Inc. in Kingston,
MA and continued through their 1985 merger with Brunswick Outdoor Advertising
in Boston. He started his own sign shop in 1986 and brings both his experience in
sales and his knowledge of all aspects of the business to his work at Poyant Signs.
Ed is customer-driven and his nearly 30 years of experience in this industry
provides him with solid insight into how to best meet customer needs. Ed is very
skilled at weighing those needs against the permitting and regulations that dictate
all signage to help the customer achieve the best value in outdoor advertising for
their particular business. He knows that the most important part of a sale is a
satisfied customer.
A sampling of Ed's current regional accounts includes 99 Restaurant and Pub,
Boch Enterprises, and Hannaford Supermarkets. His national accounts include
Sherwin Williams Paints and Mattress Giant. No job is too big or too small,
and Ed will go the extra mile for single location and local customers as well.

Geoff Diehl
Regional Sales Executive - Plymouth County & Key Accounts
Starting as an assistant designer for Sign Design Inc. of Brockton in 1997, Geoff
moved into Sales and Project Management in 2001. He was made Account
Manager for Reebok shortly thereafter, and during his tenure, Geoff also won the
contract for Payton Construction's “Campanelli Stadium” as well as a store-wide
interior “Best Sellers!” aisle package for Stop & Shop. Other projects handled at
Sign Design were the annual WBOS Earthfest concerts at the Hatch Memorial
Shell in Boston and similar event campaigns for Boston Beer and The Globe.
Moving up to Poyant Signs in 2003, Geoff joined as Account Manager for the
Plymouth County region and immediately brought in the conversion project for
Sovereign Bank's acquisition of Seacoast's holdings of Compass Bank and
Abington Savings Bank. Since then, he has continued to add banking customers
such as Eastern Bank, Norwood Bank, Bridgewater Credit Union, and
Middlesex Savings Bank. Geoff also has many local clients in the Plymouth
County area. He continues to manage interior signage components for Stop &
Shop, and handles the Hatch Shell event banners for the March of Dimes.
A '92 graduate of Lehigh University, Geoff holds a BA degree in Government and
an additional BA in Urban Studies. While at Lehigh, he held the Community
Service Chair for his fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha for 3 years, and in his senior year
held the same Chair for the Intra-Fraternity Council, representing 32 chapter houses.
Geoff is a resident of Whitman, MA along with his wife, KathyJo, and two
daughters, Kaylee and Emily. He is a member of the South Shore Chamber of
Commerce and the Metro South Chamber, and is also an appointed member of
the Whitman By-Law Review Committee. Geoff is also proud to be recognized
as a member of the Boy Scouts of America, earning his Eagle award with Troop
20 of Winnetka, IL in 1986.

Sharon Paradis
Visual Image Consultant - Rhode Island
Sharon joined Poyant Signs in 2003. Prior to coming on board, she was an
Account Executive with Lamar Outdoor Advertising, Providence, RI. “The
sign industry is very much like selling outdoor advertising, it's all about image
and branding.” Her outdoor advertising sales experience has been a great benefit
when helping clients project their image to customers and prospects. Before
Lamar, Sharon was an Account Executive with Autotrader.com, where she sold
internet advertising exclusively to franchise and independent auto dealers in
Rhode Island and eastern Connecticut. Her strong advertising and marketing
experience brings a real advantage to her clients as they develop their
Brand Image.

Dexter Credit Union, Rhode Island Hospital, New England Pest,Coastal Medical,
and Dexter Training Center.
Sharon has a bachelor's degree in Management from the University of

Jerry Sawyer
Account Executive
Jerry Sawyer joined the Poyant Team following the merger of General Sign and
Poyant in 2004. He was formally president and CEO of General Sign of Newton,
MA and previously CEO of Newton Norman Sign Co an old line New England
firm that was subsequently acquired by General Sign Company.
Jerry is well known for his expertise in management, engineering and design of
complex structures and architectural sign systems. His considerable experience
in large project logistical management provides an important addition to Poyant.
Jerry has also received recognition for his considerable expertise in sign
consulting, lighting systems and sign maintenance procedures.
Jerry now heads up the Poyant Regional Office in Boston located in Needham.
When he is not negotiating and managing signage projects, Jerry spends
considerable time every year raising money for The Friends Charity Golf
Tournament which he founded in 1995. He takes great pride in the very
significant dollar contributions “The Friends Tournament” continues to make
to The Make A Wish Foundation.
An avid golfer and travel enthusiast, he resides in Natick, MA with his wife Susie
and has three grown daughters.

Adam Mello
Account Executive
Adam joined Poyant in 2005. Prior to working for Poyant Signs Adam worked
for Fleet Bank starting in 2001 as a Sales Executive in their Inbound Telesales
Department. He worked for them through their merger with Bank of America
in 2003. In 2003 he became a Personal Banker at the Fairhaven Bank of
America branch.
Always looking to better himself and his situation he had a friend who worked at
Poyant Signs. Adam thought this was a perfect opportunity to try a new career.
He started in the Art Department at Poyant Signs learning the in's and out's of sign
design, layout and production and the importance of using high quality materials
and craftsmanship. He moved into the Sales Department in 2006 and has not
looked back.
Some of Adam's customers are Fall River Municipal Credit Union, Boston Market
and Whelan Associates. Adam is the Regional Sales Executive for the Bristol
County area. He is a member of the Greater Fall River Chamber, Taunton Area
Chamber, Attleboro Chamber and the Greater New Bedford Chamber of Commerce.
Adam is an avid golfer and loves football. Adam and his wife Jennifer and son
Justin reside in New Bedford.

Gary Bolduc
Brand Image Consultant - Local, Regional & National
Gary is based out of our Boston regional office and brings 20 years of
architectural and commercial sign experience to our organization. He
has provided solutions to a wide range of clients in the retail, institutional
and corporate markets. In addition, he has significant experience with
brand environments, exhibit design and large format graphics.
Gary offers extensive experience in building and implementing brand
strategies for multi-location companies and has worked in the past with
national accounts including Fidelity Investments, Konica Minolta and
Viega. Gary enjoys the challenge of maintaining a client's brand
standards including signage for identity and wayfinding, rollout
programs, exhibit design and any collateral materials.
Sustainable design is of particular interest to Gary. He has worked with
The Green Roundtable regarding the NEXUS Green Resource Center and
has continued to consult with TGR regarding best practices for sign
design. Poyant Signs also incorporates environmental management into
it's daily operations.
Gary holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of
Massachusetts, Amherst. He resides in West Newbury, MA with his
wife, Jean, and daughter, Malia.

Bill Barnard
Sales Executive-Local, Regional and National Sales
Bill's career in the sign industry started in 1988 with Barlo Signs setting up their
permit procurement department. Bill moved to sales in 1991 and has built a large
portfolio of dedicated accounts over the years.
Bill's accounts include national, regional and local companies. His background
in permit procurement helps to expedite fast track projects and avoid delays. Bill
is always looking for ways to increase his customers exposure in the marketplace
through the design and zoning process and offers that expertise to both single
and multi store accounts.
Bill works out of Poyant's Northern New England office in Nashua, NH. His local
area is southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. He is a member
of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and the Nashua Chamber of
Commerce.

Mike Patenaude
Sales Executive-Local, Regional and National Sales
Mike has recently joined the Sales Team at Poyant Signs.
He began his career in the sign Industry in 2003 on the installation crew for a New
Hampshire sign company. He moved into the Service Department as a Service
Assistant then soon after became Service Manager. In 2005 Mike joined their
sales team.
Mike is experienced in customer service, maintenance and understanding signage
projects “from the ground up”. His experience has helped new local businesses
brand their locations and existing businesses Re-Image their locations resulting in
increased sales revenue for the client.
Mike also works with Regional and National accounts to maintain their signage
and create a positive image to consumers.
Mike is based out of the Nashua office and serves the North Shore, Northern Mass
and Maine. Mike is a member of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce and the
Merrimack Valley Chamber Of Commerce.
